Yvonne Young
Membership Development Director
Yvonne Young is a Membership Development Director for TPSA, focused on companies whose revenues are $100M or less.
With over 20 years in the high tech industry, Yvonne has sold primarily software solutions, including application management, backup and recovery, and security solutions across all markets in the corporate, government, retail and education industries. She has successfully managed regional, national and international accounts.
Prior to TPSA, Yvonne was an Account Manager at Microsoft, selling hosted email services, including spam and virus filtering, encryption and archiving solutions. At Good Technology, Yvonne was a Corporate Account Manager, selling the Goodlink wireless communication solution for handheld devices. She spent a number of years with Network Associates selling the McAfee spam and virus solutions. She was Regional Director at BMC Software, responsible for the sales of its backup and recovery solutions. As a District Sales Manager for SCO, Yvonne successfully managed and maintained strong VAR and Reseller relationships with Computerland, Inacom and MicroAge with over 154% increase in Unix sales in the first year. While attending San Jose State University, Yvonne worked at Verbatim Corporation and helped to launch the company’s first inside sales organization.
