Technology Professional Services Association Announces Pretium Partners as a Certified Partner

Firm Offers Insights into Selling Technology Solutions and Services

SAN DIEGO and COLUMBUS, Ohio, November 7, 2006 – The Technology Professional Services Association (TPSA), the technology professional services industry’s premier organization, has selected Pretium Partners for the TPSA Certified Partner Program. The TPSA Certified Partner Program offers TPSA members the resources of service providers specializing in areas of technology professional services management such as service strategy, service marketing, service sales, and service portfolio development.

Pretium Partners is unique in that it specializes in sales and marketing training for providers of support and professional services. According to Pretium, selling technology and service solutions requires the ability to discuss business issues with business buyers and build the business case that advocates a solution based on how it improves the customer’s business.

“Pretium’s offerings and methodologies passed a rigorous review by the Certified Partner Program board. Their focus on technology professional services and support, coupled with well documented client financial successes, ensures that TPSA members will receive highly relevant sales training designed to have a positive impact on their bottom line.” said Thomas Lah, TPSA executive director.

“At Pretium our sole focus is on value. There are many sales skills and processes available but, we founded our business on one subject: how to identify and articulate value created by solutions. And we haven’t lost the focus; we improved it. Our goal in becoming a TPSA Certified Partner is to educate member organizations on how to sell their services based on the value that their services provide,” said Bill Hall, co-founder and partner, Pretium Partners.

Kyle Andrews, also co-founder and partner, adds, “Being involved with TPSA is also central to our strategy. We add value to our clients through our understanding of the service business. TPSA is an outstanding resource for professional service education at all levels.”

The Certified Partner Program is one of several new partner programs that TPSA will unveil in the coming months. The association is assembling a network of business partners to extend the reach of its program portfolio and add value for members. Poised to assist members with the challenges of building and optimizing technology professional services organizations, TPSA partners possess a vast array of talent, expertise, and experience. TPSA is carefully choosing partners to provide assistance to its members in major disciplines such as strategy, operations, sales, marketing, engineering, and delivery.
