Sun Microsystems and Symantec Reaffirm Commitment to PS and TSPA
SAN DIEGO, July 9, 2007 – The Technology Professional Services Association (TPSA) today announced that Sun Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SUNW) and Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ: SYMC) have reaffirmed their commitment to professional services and the association.

Members of TPSA take advantage of a full range of research studies, executive roundtables, and other advisory services that are critical to their execution strategies as well as long range strategic plans. Most recently, the association has completed a multi-member study on the subject of compensation in technology professional services. Participating member companies provided thousands of data points related to compensation and compensation policies for 12 professional services positions in services delivery, services engineering, and services sales. The study yielded an unprecedented view of professional services compensation in general, and a particularly rich understanding of the drivers of variable compensation.
