In addition to TPSA Research deliverables available to all members as a core membership benefit, TPSA conducts fee-based Multi-Member Studies that provide additional benchmarking data on specific topics of interest to the TPSA member community.

Participation

TPSA Multi-Member Studies are available only to member companies.  There are three levels of participation for each study:

  • Steering Committee Members guide the development of the research, contribute data to the study, and receive all study deliverables.

  • Contributing Participants contribute data to the study, and receive all study deliverables.

  • Non-Contributing Members do not contribute data to the study, but receive access to the study report after a four-month “quarantine” period.

Steering Committee

The first five to seven TPSA member companies who commit to contributing data for a study constitute the Steering Committee for that study.  Steering Committee Members assist TPSA staff to determine overall study content, to review draft survey questions, and to approve the final survey instrument. Study Steering Committees typically meet two to three times by conference call during the study design phase.

Deliverables

Participants receive a comprehensive set of Study deliverables:

  • Participant-only webcast presentation of key study findings
  • Participant-only copy of webcast presentation slide deck
  • Participant-only company-confidential data file of study results
  • Complete Study report in PowerPoint format
  • 30-minute inquiry engagement with TPSA experts to address specific questions about the study and its implications

Value

Multi-Member Studies provide the TPSA membership a unique opportunity to benchmark their businesses on critical performance measures and at levels of detail that in many cases may have no precedent in the industry.  The ‘consortium’ model allows TPSA to keep the cost of participation well below that of traditional custom research projects, while delivering richer data sets than individual members could compile individually – accelerating the optimization of our member PS organizations.
