Technology professional services organizations face new challenges regarding the globalization of the services workforce. A trend that began as the outsourcing of I/T support functions has matured into the offshore delivery of complex professional services engagements. Sophisticated delivery models are evolving that allow technology professional services organizations to leverage expertise from anywhere in the world. However, previous offshore partners are now evolving into onshore competitors that offer aggressive price advantages to the marketplace.
