TPSA Corporate Responsibility
Thomas E. Lah, Executive Director, TPSA
John Wood, Founder & CEO, Room to Read
The Technology Professional Services Association believes corporate responsibility to be a core value of our Association. We believe that corporations have a responsibility to give back to the community, encourage people to lead balanced lives, embrace diversity, and educate those less fortunate—which will in turn lead to greater prosperity for all. TPSA can make a significant difference by championing specific issues, communicating those issues to our industry, and working with others to understand and confront them head on.

TPSA has chosen to sponsor the dynamic, results-oriented organization Room to Read, that seeks to intervene early in the lives of children and help provide them with an education and the lifelong gift of literacy. Room to Read has built 200 schools and established over 2,500 libraries in six countries throughout South and Southeast Asia to date.

We have invited John Wood, Founder and CEO, Room to Read to speak to the audience at our inaugural Summit. John is an ex-Microsoft executive, and was the Director of Business Development for the Greater China Region prior to starting Room to Read. John will introduce the audience to Room to Read, present some real-life examples of its impact on rural education, and let the audience know how to get involved.

Geoffrey Moore (Dealing with Darwin, Crossing the Chasm, Inside the Tornado, The Gorilla Game, Living on the Fault Line), will discuss the current state of the technology industry.
